The Cambiata

The Cambiata was an American indie alternative rock band from Portland, Maine. The band was originally composed of Chris Moulton, Sean Morin, Miguel Barajas, Stan Dzengelewski, and Danny McKellick. Starting off as a post-hardcore-esque band with their first release Into The Night, they moved towards a few style and lineup changes, replacing Danny McKellick on drums with Dan Capaldi, forming the final incarnation of the project. Their next release To Heal left behind the screams and breakdowns of before, in favor of interesting melodies, chord changes, and a wide range of instruments throughout, and kept this style until their eventual departure.

The band disbanded around April of 2009, although the final album Darling, was released after their breakup
