The Fabulous Inkspots

Canadian-based spin off from The Ink Spots led by Ray Richardson, active since the early 1970s. Also known as The Canadian Inkspots and Ray Richardson's Fabulous Inskpots .

Ray Richardson joined Charlie Fuqua's Ink Spots in 1961 and became leader after Fuqua's death in 1971. Richardson registered a Canadian trademark for the group and based it out of Toronto.
Lorenzo Conyers had joined Deek Watson's Ink Spots in 1954, and then joined Fuqua's Ink Spots in 1965.
Bernie Mackey was a member of the original Ink Spots, having joined in 1943.
