The Finest Bloodlust

The Finest Bloodlust were a 5-piece Deathcore band hailing from the small town of Yeovil, in the county of Somerset (UK).

In the beginning they were called StillBorn.

StillBorn was the lovechild of four local musicians playing at that time in separate bands. Bendy (Aka Benjamin Dunston) was in the lead guitarist for the band Exile (not to be confused with US pop/country outfit, actually named after the song by Slayer) , Dominic Rimmer (rhythm guitar) & Tony Martin (drums) were in a band called Endless and Adam Winter (vocals) was in Lords Of The Southern Priest. The original bassist was called Joey, he'd never been in any other bands but was swiftly kicked out after refusing to pay for his share of the studio time.
The band (StillBorn) released one EP on CD called ''Rising Tides & Sinking Ships'' which was recorded by Johnny Renshaw (Devil Sold His Soul) and has guest vocals by Ed from DSHS too.

After a few years of gigging, touring, member changes and an eventual name change. by

The Finest Bloodlust was born... and the original line up was as follows:

Ryan Lund - Vocals
Benjamin Dunston - Lead Guitar
Adam Winter - Rhythm Guitar
Joe Blackburn (Martyr Defiled) - Bass
Tony Martin - Drums

As this line-up they recorded their debut EP with Johnny Renshaw again at Bandit Studios & hit the road promoting it once more. Not too long after this The Finest Bloodlust had their final member change up due to the vocalist Ryan leaving the group.

The group recorded some additional tracks as this line-up which can be found on Youtube but were never released as an EP/Album.

After many shows, many years and some fears with struggling to break into the larger circuit, mix in some directional differences with where to take the band, the band disbanded in 2011.
Rob joined Copse, whilst Benjamin went on to become a resident DJ in Berlin.
Adam, Mikey & Tony went on to form Perdisian.
