Hailing from Salem Oregon, The Live Five were a powerful force in defining the sound of the Pacific Northwest in the 1960's. They worked closely with other NW bands of the era including The Sonics, The Wailers, Paul Revere & The Raiders and many other garage rock greats. The Live Five recorded several records and their popularity gained them a contract with Jerden Records. The Live Five were not only a local dancehall favorite, they also were selected to be the opening band for many national acts with included The Rolling Stones, Sonny & Cher, The Everly Bros., The Beach Boys and many others during their short 3 year career (1965 - 1968). Craig Martel - Drums Jerry 'JT' Meier - Guitar, Vocals Bill O'Brian - Vocals Joe Smith - Bass Stan Steiner - Keyboards
