The Merton Parkas were a mod revival band, named after the Merton Park area of South London where they were from. Formed in the late 1970s, by Danny Talbot (vocals and guitar), his brother Mick Talbot (keyboards, later in The Style Council), Neil Hurrell (bass) and Simon Smith (drums).
