The Rebel Spell were a punk band from East Vancouver, Coast Salish Territories (aka Vancouver, BC, Canada) with catchy songs and political lyrics.
They formed in 2002 and ended in early 2015 when their singer, Todd Serious, tragically died in a rock-climbing accident in Black Velvet Canyon near Las Vegas, NV, USA.
Their final show was on New Years Eve, December 31, 2014 at the Wise Hall in Vancouver.
The surviving members of The Rebel Spell are involved in new bands especially Alien Boys and Freak Dream.
