The Rhythmic State

The Rhythmic State are a Scottish hardcore dance act that formed in December 1992. Named from a like of the line 'rhythmic synergy' from The Shamen's 'Boss Drum' and group 808 State. They created a demo tape of their music and passed it to DJ Tom Wilson to play on his Steppin' Out show on Radio Forth in Edinburgh. They consisted of Nick Williams (Keyboards & MC), Andy Cocozza (Keyboards), Amanda Gent (Vocals), Rab and Kev (Dancers).
