The Seventh Beyond

The Seventh Beyond is a conceptual, studio-based project conceived in 2011, specialising in the creation of synthesizer-based instrumental music (usually without the use of vocals or drums). The band’s music (which has often been described as atmospheric and mood-evoking) is a blend of ambient, minimalist, new age, electronic and neo-classical styles, revealing influences by such artists as Brian Eno, early Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, Terry Riley and Philip Glass. The Seventh Beyond adhere to a “less is more” philosophy, hence the deliberately minimalist style of this website. (The website merely provides information – the music says everything!)
