The Sicktones

The Sicktones is an occasional band by Drunk In Hell members Bish (aka Bish Bash : drums), Kev (aka Kevslug : bass) and Gillham (aka Michael Giro : guitar, voice) which is solely influenced by The Sickness (Larry Lifeless and Big Daddy's band from 1979-81 prior to Kilslug), and no-one else.

In 2010 The Sicktones recorded 5 tracks with one mic plugged into a tape deck but only released one track on a compilation tape. The demo recording was soon followed by 2.5 shambolic gigs. One track from an audience recording of the first gig appeared on another compilation. All the other demo and live tracks were to remain unreleased indefinitely fully in the spirit of The Sickness who only ever released 2 tracks but were known to have lots of unreleased recordings. Then in 2017 after The Sickness 'Complete Sickness' LP was released collecting a selection of their rare and unreleased recordings The Sicktones also released the complete 5 track demo recording in full otherwise it would still be unreleased. The live recording has not been released.
