U.S. garage rock / heavy psychedelic / proto punk rock band (formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan 1967 by Iggy Pop, Dave Alexander, Ron and Scott Asheton) that are thought to have kickstarted the punk rock revolution. The band was originally known as the "Psychedelic Stooges".


Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2010 (performer).
