The Swingsations

US jazz band founded in 1995. The Swingsations are dedicated to performing the very best in Classic Jazz, Swing, and novelty tunes from the 1920's to the 1940's. Led by trumpeter and vocalist Jim Ziegler, the band has performed throughout the Southern California area, delighting audiences with their hot and happy rhythm. Their performance credits include nightclub appearances at the Derby in Los Angeles ( 1999 - 2002) and at the Argyle Hotel ( 2003-04); Park Concerts for the cities of Lakewood, Yucaipa, Temecula, and Alhambra; Jazz Festival appearances at Big Bear (1998-2000), Sacramento (1996), and Sun Valley, Idaho (1997); and performing at the Casino San Clemente's Fall Jazz Series (2015) and Summer Jazz Series (2018). In addition, they have performed at numerous weddings and special events.
