The Truth About Dreaming

The Truth About Dreaming was a screamo/emo-violence project from Michigan that began in early 2012 and ended in 2015. Initially it began as a studio project with an abrasive, lo-fi sound, with all releases being recorded on 4-track cassette recorders. Then the project went into a more melodic direction, integrating synths and drum machines to create a more unique sound. A large amount of limited demos, Ep's, splits, albums, and compilations have been released over the years, many being on the defunct Off Cloud Nine Label and other US/International labels. The project was revived for one more release in 2023. It is unknown if more music will be released.
