They started recording as The Bassies in 1967. Later they changed their name to The Victors.

Clifford Morrison was lead singer in his band The Bassies recorded for producers like Clement "Coxsone" Dodd and Sonia Pottinger. All known recordings happened between 1967-1969. All recordings made in 1969 for Sonia Pottinger are credited to their alias The Victors. Afterwards they got soon forgotten.
