About

The Workhouse were formed in an East Oxford bedroom in 1993. They played their first gig in a small town outside Oxford called Witney in 1995.
It took 6 years to release their debut single and 10 years to release their debut album.
They were not in a rush but it was a relatively soon until they released their second album in 2006.
During this period they were regularly played on the radio, recorded radio sessions and they supported some great bands.
