Tiger Tunes

Electronic inspired Danish indie rock band. Formed in 2001, the band initially used the internet to distribute their music. In 2003, with only two singles released online and no record contract, they were the first band to play all three major festivals in Denmark: Roskilde Festival, Roskilde Festival, and Roskilde Festival. Subsequently their singles did well on the national Danish radio Roskilde Festival charts and in 2004 they won a "Steppeulv" award in the category "Newcomer of the Year". Despite the recognition, subsequent releases did not receive much attention and the band went on a hiatus in 2005. They officially disbanded in 2007.
