American bassist, born 18 April 1946 in Tucson, Arizona, USA and grew up in Dumas, Texas. At the age of 20, he met Johnny Winter and joined his band. He appeared with Johnny Winter at Woodstock in 1969. He is also known as the bassist for Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, and was also a member of Arc Angels and Storyville.
