Danish keyboard player and percussionist, initially making a name for himself as a member of the promising alternative act Darling Sect in the mid-1980s. Member of funk-rock band Void! from January 1984 and the controversial art pop/post punk group The Poets from early 1986. Toured East- and West Germany with this band 1988. Participated in the infamous Soviet tour March 1989, where The Poets along with three other Danish rock bands were banned and deported. Early summer 1989 it came to a break with The Poets, and Engberg left to collaborate with alternative star Martin Hall. Currently chief executive of the musical educational program in the city of Copenhagen.
