Constanta native Costin Trandafir had already been a household name in Romanian underground hip hop when he joined production powerhouse Okapi Sound in 2010. Starting as a solo artist in 2002, he founded Pulse Records with frequent collaborator Protone and released a string of singles before independently putting out his debut album, "Rezolutia".
Tranda started making a name for himself as a producer when he collaborated with fellow Constanta MC Criss Blaziny for his debut album, "Tatuat Pe Creier". His first single for Okapi Sound, a collaboration with Romanian hip hop heavyweight Grasu XXL, was released in early 2010, to critical acclaim. It was followed by a number of singles and music videos in anticipation to his sophomore solo effort, Evolutia, released in late 2012 by Okapi Sound in Romania.
