About

Trooper is a hard rock/AOR band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, that was formed in 1967 under the name Winter's Green. In the early 70s, the band changed its name to Applejack and finally, in 1975, to Trooper.

Core members Ra McGuire and [a=Brian Smith (18)], who started together in Winter's Green, would be the only consistent members, until their retirement in 2021.

Current lineup: [a= David Steele (4)] (lead vocals), Steve Crane (lead guitar), Paul Gogo (keyboards), Scott Brown (bass), Clayton Hill (drums)
