Ukays

A Malaysian band. Has a lot of controversies and band line-up changes. Started as Ukay and produced an album with that name 1989. After tha failure of their debut album, they changed their lead vocalist Zul with Amir from the band “Analisa”. After the success of “Bisa Berbisa” another controversy happens and only the vocalist remains. This later lead to the formation of U.K’s which sounds the same, ang with new band members. UK’s was basicly Amir’s band with the support of Saari Amri as producer. Later the band members from the 2nd version of Ukays left the band without Amir and later joined with Rahmad Tohak of “Mega” to form “Utama”.
