Swedish folk musician (plays härjedalspipa, zither and concert flute) and singer, born 16 August 1974 in Kvarsebo in Östergötland. Ulrika Bodén grew up in the countryside in Ångermanland and studied classical music at Kapellsberg's music school in Härnösand. During her time there, she discovered folk music and was inspired by the local singer Ester Isaksson. Under the group name Sheida she competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen 2007 together with Niklas Roswall, Rostam Mirlashari and Abdulrahman. The contribution "I mina drömmar - Mani armani taha" was presented in Baluchian, Persian and Swedish.
