Chicago based Black Thrash band, formed in 1992.
Began as a side project by Rick, Dave and Joe during their tenure in The Dead Youth. It eventually became their primary focus, resulting in the disbanding of The Dead Youth. Usurper split up in 2007 but guitarist/songwriter Rick Scythe resurrected the band in 2015 with former members Joe Apocalyptic Warlord and Danny "Tyrantor" Lawson.
