American songwriter and artist manager. Wife of Monk Higgins. She charted 8 times as a songwriter between 1977 and 1982. Her first hit came in 1977 with Good Thing Man by Frank Lucas (co-written by Lucas), as the song hit #9 on the R&B chart. Her last song came in 1982, viz. Recess In Heaven, for which she wrote the lyrics and Joyce Stiger the music. The song hit #40 on the R&B chart in 1982, as performed by Bobby Bland. She later moved into artist management.
