Velehentor

Dark ambient/noise/industrial project from Yekaterinburg, Russia.

The project was created in 1998 in Yekaterinburg by members of the black metal band Valhalla under the Russian title "Велеентор". Initially, the project was planned as a black ambient band, actively involved in live performances. The band included Satt (also known as "121" or "Podonok"), Schur, Zlav and others.

In 1998, the band recorded their first live album, consisting of three tracks (later re-issued as "Live '98"). Until 1999, the group continued its planned activities. After that, Satt, interested in promoting the group outside of Russia, changed the name of the project to the Lating spelling: Velehentor. The group recorded the album "...Из Мрака Могил. Каменные Колодцы Вечности" (1999) in dark ambient style, and after that a kind of collapse occurs in 2000, after which Satt continues to work on the project alone, sometimes attracting session musicians.
