Victor Vinyl was a jazz project of José Bouttard (and then also his nickname), formed a few time after his departure of the band Vermines in 1984. Some live shows were performed in the Rouen area and in Amiens (opened for Mister Moonlight in 1988).
At the end of 1988, José Bouttard formed the band Smallpox, so that Victor Vinyl became inactive. After Smallpox broke up in early 1994, José briefly reformed his jazz project for few concerts (at least one show in March 1994 at Exo 7). Victor Vinyl became inactive again and definitely a few time after these shows.
