Vocokesh was formed in 1989 in Milwaukee, WI by Richard Franecki (guitar, bass, electronics) with Jan Schober (drums) and Steve Zimmerman (electronics). The sound can be treated as an avantgarde blend of psychedelic and space. This is often based on blues themes and spiked with kraut rock portions here and there.
