Norwegian black metal band from Sogndal, formed in 2004.
Vreid rose from the ashes of the band Windir after the death of frontman Valfar. Vreid was formed by three former Windir members and a new guitarist, Ese, who was replaced by former Windir guitarist Strom in 2010, making all the band members former Windir members.
Vreid is Norwegian for "Wrath".
