Born 07.10.1931 in Berlin - Died 21.01.2009 in Berlin. He played in several Big Bands and Combos since the age of 17. In 1965 he founded the "Studioorchester Walter Kubiczeck" at the Berlin Rundfunk. He wrote and arranged soundtracks for various movies in the GDR, of which "Das Unsichtbare Visier" is his most regarded and most impressive work.
