Wendy Matthews (born 1960, Montreal, Quebec, Canada) is a Canadian-born Australian singer. Matthews moved to Australia in 1983 and found herself in demand as a session singer. She went on to perform with many well known bands and in 1990 launched a successful solo career, and throughout the ensuing decade won numerous music awards. In 1995, Matthews became an Australian citizen.
