About

Will Balfa (Born: October 31, 1917 in Evangeline Parish, Louisiana, USA) was a Cajun fiddler. He died with his brother Rodney Balfa in February 6, 1979 in Bunkie, Louisiana in a car crash.

He was taught to spell his last name "Bolfa" at school, a habit that stuck and that's why he's sometimes credited as "Will Bolfa" instead of "Will Balfa".
