Italian pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor, born in Brisighella, Ravenna (1924), died in Bologna (1984). Member of Cinico Angelini's orchestra; later founded his own band. Musical director of the 1959 San Remo Song Festival. That same year, he accompanied Domenico Modugno to the Eurovision Song Contest in Cannes, conducting the orchestra for his performance of 'Piove'.
