Willie Leacox

Born: March 31st, 1947 in Shenandoah, Iowa, USA.
Dead: February 1st, 2022 in Stockton, CA, USA.
American drummer & percussionist. He learnt to play the drums as a member of a drum-playing family and whilst at school started playing in bands. From 'Echoes' in 1963 he moved on to 'Green Giants' (1963-65) and then 'Jerms' in 1968 at Washburn University. In 1973 he auditioned for America playing drums and percussion and was a member of the band until 8 July 2014.
