Pennsylvania four-piece Young and Heartless were formed in 2011 by singer/guitarist Jeremy Henninger, guitarist Bryan Tricarico, bassist Britain Weyant, and drummer Jake Lepley. Born out of Harrisburg's hardcore/pop-punk scene, the band's blend of moody introspection and tense indie rock has drawn comparisons to acts like Brand New and Balance & Composure.
