    Yury Tsiryuk is a Russian cellist and conductor, a student of Mstislav Rostropovich. Tsiryuk had been playing in Leningrad Academic Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra conducted by Evgeny Mravinsky. In 1969, the musician moved to Belarus, where he became a principal conductor of recently established Minsk Chamber Orchestra and remained at this position till 1983.
