Zebra & Giraffe is a South African alternative/indie rock band from Johannesburg which started off a solo vehicle for singer/songwriter/guitarist Greg Carlin in 2007. Debut album "Collected Memories" appeared in May 2008 whereupon the live act was fleshed out to include new members Alan Shenton (guitar), bassist Andrew Maskell, Darren Leader on drums, and Mike Wright (keyboards). The debut went on to pick up the 2009 SAMA for "Best Rock Album" and the follow-up full-length, "The Inside", appeared in 2010.
