Zero Absolu

Annecy (France) native and now based in Lyon, experimental/indie/shoegaze/post-noise/metal one-man band "Zéro Absolu" was founded in the spring of 2006 and represents a personal and solitary project. It follows an urge to share outstanding moments as well as nostalgic, melancholic, furious thoughts and communicates intimate and experimental atmospheres. Crossbreeding post rock, math rock and electronic music, "Zéro Absolu" is a modern one-piece band that overlays its electronic beats and instrumental loops with texts, poems, stories or vox pop inserts. Live performances represent an important aspect of the project; "Zéro Absolu" wishes to reach a performance filled with emotional awareness and honesty, as his music conveys and as supported by the videos screened during his shows. The 2006 EP ‘’La fuite’’ marks a solitary period that was followed in 2007 by a concept album ‘’Du vide au néant…’’ in the hope to complete the project. In 2008 an impulse toward evolution and creativity led to the release of a double album in early 2010. "Zéro Absolu" still develops visual concepts for future shows and continues to spend most of his time writing new material.
