Zeyn'el

Zeyn'el is from İstanbul. He is also sound engineer, musicolog, philosopher, singer-songwriter. He plays ukulele, banjo and guitar.

He is currently working on his academic in philosophy of music at ITU Musicology Post-graduate. He has been working as a sound engineer for 10 years in Turkish Rock music community. He has been working with such musicians as Leman Sam, Vega, Evrencan Gündüz, Su Soley, Mirkelam and he had worked music performance venues such as Hayal Kahvesi Beyoğlu, Shaft, Indigo and Alt Jazz. He plays with Özer Ateş (b), Merih Aşkın (g), Burak Taşdemir (d), [a=Kerem Can Aslan] (p).

He blends Anatolia asiq tradition with instruments such as ukulele and banjo, and tries to maintain this tradition with his compositions and folk songs.
