Polish guitarist, violinist, multi-instrumentalist once associated with the musical environment of Cracow. Together with his brother Janusz Kaczmarski, he co-founded the first line-up of the band Skaldowie (1965-1967). Later, he collaborated with groups Alibabki and Szwagry. In 1972, as a member of the music group of Teatr STU, he took part in the preparation of the performance "Sennik Polski". In mid-1972 he joined the band ANAWA (1972-1973), and in the second half of the 70s he played in the group Osjan (1976-1978, 1979). He also collaborated with jazz bands and musicians. Didactic worker at the Academy of Music in Cracow (1982-2012). The first in Poland, a long-time teacher of the baroque violin class. A graduate of the State Higher School of Music in Crakow (later under the name Academy of Music), he then specialized in playing the baroque violin under the direction of Sigiswald Kuijken. Initiator of the historically informed performance movement in Poland - co-founder and artistic director of the first Polish group of historical instruments "Fiori Musicali" which he founded in the early 80s with his wife and with which he performed in almost all European countries, cooperating with many outstanding Polish and foreign musicians, recording albums, radio and TV broadcasts. He also dealt with the problems of reconstructing historical keyboards. The harpsichords built by him are in Polish musical institutions.
