At the same time another band named Όλεθρος was roaming the scene, formed by the singer/guitarist Έμη . It was supposed to be an all-female band but it didn't work out. Eventually Έμη joined Ρήγμα as a bass player and continued her own band using session musicians.
Both bands shared the same stage quite often, playing similar styles of extreme music and decided to unite and become one band named Ολέθριο Ρήγμα.
