    American jazz trumpeter.

    Clinton "Mickey" McMahan played with Les Brown's band on The Steve Allen Show in the 1950s and 1960s, and later toured with Brown's band on overseas USO tours. He played with Lawrence Welk and his Champagne Music Makers from 1966 to 1982, performing both on television show and live concert dates. He also played with the bands of Freddy Martin, Tex Beneke, Billy Vaughn, and Stan Kenton.

    Married to longtime Brown vocalist Jo Ann Greer (1957-2001, her death).
