b 08/05/1964 in Colchester, Essex Famed for being the drummer in Blur (and Seymour). Also played on Gorillaz first album, with Graham Coxon's band in 2000 and also featured on Fat Les' singles. He also formed his own band The Ailerons with long time Blur collaborator Mike Smith, along with the label they are on (Transistor Project). Dave has also made animations outside of his band commitments, forming the company Nanomation and being responsible for the award winning series Empire Square. During hiatus periods stood as MP for constituencies in London, as well as acting as a qualified lawyer and solicitor. Currently he is host of a radio show on London's XFM.
