American multi-instrumentalist (guitar, dobro, mandolin, fiddle, bass), singer, producer, arranger and engineer. As well as releasing numerous solo albums, he has played with musicians such as Bob Dylan, Carly Simon, Eagles, Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Gordon Lightfoot, Bonnie Raitt, Doug Sahm, and Tom Paxton.
