About

Decent News was founded in 2016 by Eddie LaFlash, Laken Stokes and Collin Maynard at the EO Smith building on the Uconn Campus (of which only Collin attended). After many parking tickets the three recorded the project's first self-titled demo in 2017. Caleb D. Moore would soon after join to take over vocal duties for their upcoming debut album "Filth" which made landfall just a few months after they signed to Machine Man Records. Collin soon left the band to focus on school and the boys started work on their second album "Monolith" which released in 2019. 2020 would have the trio releasing "Monolith: Remixed" and a Split EP with Seattle muscle studs Chrome Corpse
