Deddy Stanzah

(14 April 1949 – 22 January 2001) Indonesian rock bassist & Vocalist in The Rollies (1967-1974), Superkid, Giant Step, God Bless and Genta Istana.
The singer whose real name is Deddy Sutansyah started his career as a member of The Rollies and was involved in his first album. This band are a brass rock band heavily influenced by Chicago and Blood, Sweat And Tears. Deddy once also joined God Bless as a bass player even though he did not have time to record, and briefly joined Benny Soebardja's group, Giant Step along with Jockie Soerjoprajogo, but this formation lasted a long time.

After God Bless, in the mid-1970s, Deddy Stanzah and his two other colleagues, Deddy Dores and Jelly Tobing raised the Superkid flag. Deddy is quite dominant in composing songs for Superkid. His position is not only as a bass string plucker but also as a vocalist
