    Die Sieben Raben

    "Die sieben Raben" were a German vocal group (Schlager ) of the late 1950s. In 1956, they were leading the charts with the song "Smoky" (written by Kurt Feltz for about eight weeks. Their next song "Oklahoma-Tom" reached place 11.


    Die Sieben Raben consisted of four members of the Comedien-Quartett: Herbert Imlau, Fred Ritter, Werner Schliebietz and Karl-Heinz Nowak. The female parts were sung by the singers of the Sunshine-Quartett or by Ille Wappler, member of Die Moonlights.
