Dry County was initially made up of members, Kevin Littlewood, - Phil Porter, - Stuart Flood and Joanne Parle. The 'Nothing Stays in Place' E.P. was released by Lazybird in 2004 with a reissue in 2005 featuring different mixes. Joanne Parle leaves the group. Their debut album, 'Unexpected Falls' was released on May 4th 2007 and nominated for the Choice Music Prize award 2008. New member Derek Cosgrove joins. The band changed their name to Alias Empire in 2009, so as not to "...draw any immediate associations with genre". Unexpected Falls was re-released under the new band name.
