    Estonian Radio Light Music Orchestra, also known as Eesti Raadio Kerge Muusika Orkester (ERKO) and Оркестр Легкой Музыки Эстонского Радио, was a Soviet popular music ensemble founded in 1962. Aleksander Rjabov directed and conducted the orchestra for many years, and from 1978 to 1984 Paul Mägi acted as a principal conductor. In 1967, it became the first Soviet orchestra to perform and record music by The Beatles.


    Not to be confused with Eesti Raadio Estraadiorkester (Estonian Radio Variety Orchestra). Other name variations: Eesti Raadio Kergemuusika Orkester, ER Kerge Muusika Orkester, ER Kergemuusika Orkester, ER Kergemuusikaorkester.
