Jazz drummer
He was born in Falset (Catalonia, Spain) in 1977. At the age of 8 he began music lessons at the local music school, two years later he started playing drums and at the age of 12 he joined the amateur group "Banda Vil.la de Falset ". Playing concerts and parades throughout Catalonia for 8 years.

At the age of 19 he began his studies at the "Taller de Musics" in Barcelona, ​​one of the few places to study jazz music at that time in Spain. A year later he played with some of the most respected Spanish jazz musicians, some of whom were his teachers at the music school.

In 1999, he was selected to play in the "EuroDisney International Students Big Band", directed by great musicians and arrangers like Matt Harris or Peter Erskine.

In 2002 he won a grant from the Generalitat de Catalunya to receive private lessons in New York with the great jazz drummer Joe Fransworth.

In 2003 he won again a scholarship from the Generalitat to attend private classes in New York with jazz master drummer Kenny Washington.

He regularly plays in jazz clubs, theaters and jazz festivals throughout Europe, and has also performed in Colombia, Brazil, the United States, Japan, South Africa, Senegal, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Morocco.

He has played with Johnny Griffin, Phil Woods, Benny Golson, Scott Hamilton, Jesse Davis, Cyrus Chestnut, Benny Green, Claudio Roditi, Moroni, Grant Stewart, Harry Allen, Philip Catherine, Joe Magnarelli, Perico Sambeat, Terrell Stafford, Jim Rotondi, Peter Bernstein, John Faddis, Eric Alexander, Reggie Johnson, Gary Smulyan, Mark Whitfield, Larry Coryell, ...
