About

Swedish classical ensemble dedicated to contemporary chamber music by modern composers. This profile is for the entity that was founded in 1984/85 by Ansgar Krook who, until his death in 1992, was also it's artistic director. Originally named "Stockholms Kammarensemble" they soon changed their name to KammarensembleN, to avoid being mixed up with Stockholms Kammarensemble (active 1973-81).
Note: When you encounter the English name "Stockholm Chamber Ensemble", check the year of recording (not the year of release!) to credit the right entity.
Recorded 1973-1981: ANV to Stockholms Kammarensemble
Recorded 1984- : ANV to KammarensembleN
