Klaus Weiland

German folk guitarist and singer-songwriter, born 11. February 1947 in Bergen-Belsen, Germany.

Famously known for the fingerstlye piece "Das Loch in der Banane" ("The Hole in the Banana"), which for 2 decades was used as the signature melody for the NDR (Norddeutscher Rundfunk), the biggest Northern German TV station. Also known as one long time recording and travelling guitarist for Hannes Wader.
Lives in Texas, USA, now.
